What still needs a connection?Download first; synchronize and confirm before final handoff.
  • Download an assignment or inspection that is not already saved locally.
  • Upload queued changes and photo files to the server.
  • Generate a new AI-assisted narrative draft.
  • Submit or resubmit an inspection and use connected report actions.
What should I check after reconnecting?Pending and failed work are never presented as safely synced.

Keep the affected inspection open, let synchronization run, and confirm the synced state. Use Sync Now or Retry if anything remains pending or failed. Sync Status also remains available from app settings.

  • Offline: changes are saved on the device.
  • Pending: queued work is waiting to sync.
  • Syncing: the active inspection queue is being sent.
  • Synced: the server has confirmed the handoff.
  • Failed: the item needs Retry or user attention.
How does this affect photos and AI?Photos queue locally; a new AI draft remains a connected action.

Captured photos can remain on the device until upload. Existing narrative text can be edited offline and queued, but generating a new AI draft requires connectivity. See Photo Documentation and AI Copilot.
